Charter Design Services
Knoxville, Tennessee

The Charter Design Services project is a multi-year effort by Charter Communications to expand and upgrade its coaxial and fiber-optic networks as a result of the nationwide Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF). The expansion is happening across all regions of the United States with the goal of servicing Charter Spectrum customers in urban, suburban and rural areas. The project requires assessment of an area’s current infrastructure for design teams to plan coaxial, hybrid fiber-coax (HFC) and fiber-optic networks to later be installed for customers.

LDA Fiber currently provides Charter Spectrum with coaxial and fiber as built drafting services and keeps Charter’s live records database up-to-date based on what infrastructure has been built in the field per the construction teams. This allows for quick ease of gathering drawings and data with updated and verified information. LDA Fiber is growing its team to provide design services for Charter’s fiber-optic broadband networks.
