RDOF Winner Map: Fiber, Fixed Wireless Win Big, Winners Commit to Gigabit Speeds – Telecompetitor

LDA Fiber has been presented with an opportunity to contribute to the RDOF (Rural Digital Opportunity Fund) initiative happening across the county over the next 5+ years. We will be doing field and design work for Charter Communications, who won the 2nd most bids out of all Telecom companies who bid on this work. Many companies have bid on this initiative, because it will be placing hundreds of thousands of miles of fiber to provide broadband services to areas that don’t currently have access to it. The FCC will be directing up to $20.4 billion over ten years for this initiative!
