LDA Engineering has announced the hiring of Mark Harrison, PE, P.G., as client service manager to provide engineering project management and client services to the Chattanooga metro area, including North Georgia and North Alabama.
“Mark is a great addition to the LDA Engineering team in Chattanooga,” said Jason Brooks, president and CEO of LDA Engineering. “His experience working in Hamilton County, coupled with his passion and expertise in the industry, will ensure that our clients receive the best solutions and customer service.”
Harrison will be involved in research, design, documentation and additional engineering project work for clients in Chattanooga.
“I am looking forward to continuing the great work of LDA Engineering in the Chattanooga community,” Harrison said. “Hamilton County is a great place to do business, and I’m proud to work with all of our clients in the area to solve their infrastructure challenges.”
He has more than 18 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including his most recent position as the chief engineer for the Hamilton County Water & Wastewater Treatment Authority. Harrison also has operated Mountain Creek Engineering, Inc. in Chattanooga since 2008 and taught at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga as an adjunct professor since 2012.
Harrison graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in geology and from the University of Tennessee in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He earned a master’s degree in environmental engineering from UT in 2001. Harrison is a member of multiple industry organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers.
